Sounds like you’re happily stretching those grey cells left and right. Can relate to your engagement when tutoring students. When I went back to school to learn about computer graphics, I found so much inspiration from young people and many who were creating art around me.

Except for money part I totally relate your list as a new grad student. It’s so more engaging than my stupid financial biz, especially when I’m tutoring students, but also when slogging through the massive amounts of reading & writing.

I get the feeling your possible retirement won’t really be a retirement now that you’ve started your Ebay gig. The vibes from that venture sound mucho positive. It’s as though all your experience and the things you’ve best liked to do have naturally led you to that business.

Thank you for this–as I am trying to reach a decision about retirement. These patterns you describe showed up in me during the year I had a sabbatical and was writing a textbook. In some ways, because I teach the majority of my teaching load online, I have some of these patterns today. Keeping a blog helps keep me presentable!
