Years ago I used voice software and a foot controlled mouse. At this point it's easier to back off rest when necessary and to manage the load to avoid flare ups.

Glad to hear you don't have tendonitis.

A magnet eh? Hm...will have to look into that... $1.00 for a jacket? No way in NYC even if the thing was in tatters.

One problem with my neighborhood thrifts is that they're becoming victims to steeply rising rents. Two have recently closed up shop.

I'm blushing, but a $25 Armani jacket? I am SO envious. Recently, I've decided to start carrying a small magnet for testing potential jewelry purchases...after something I found in the pocket of a jacket I paid just $1 for! An thank you for the mention.

That sounds awful. Have you looked into any typing programs used by those who've lost the use of their arms. I follow someone on Twitter with ALS (spelling?) who actually tuns out paintings with software controlled by her eyes alone - no hands Ma. And she sells them.

Hmm. Don't know what's going on with the spam thing. Glad to hear you're relaxing though.

Tendonitis vs carpal is a major distinction. The tendonitis tends to affect a larger area, e.g., forearms to elbows. I shouldn't even be typing this :).

Interesting. I see you've made some changes on your comment page and your last two comments have been caught in my spam filter. Ah Wordpress and its' little quirks. Just got back from lovely picnic in the park on 1st cool night in ages after helping to polish off yummy red wine from Chile and feeling smooooth.

By the way doubt I have tendonitis. Think it leans more to carpal. When mouse manipulation becomes too painful in one hand I switch to the other and that seems to work okay for now.

Yes, Terri is the thrifting queen!

The bracelets are really beautiful. I always, always pop into thrift stores to look at jewelry and have found a few nice pieces. Etzy is also a good option for jewelry as the pieces are original, of good quality (most of the time) and affordable.

It sounds like fun to go thrifting with your sister.
