Have never used iTunes on my Mac. Will look into it one of these days…As it is, it took me at least 10 years to get around to trying out my iPhoto…

Ok, but you must have access to iTunes, either on Windows or Mac, right? The Hudsucker Proxy is totally worth the $2.99 to rent and play.

Interesting point about bad employers who put up with the poor behavior of certain employees. At a company where I worked there was one employee who was downright toxic. Just being around her was enough to raise blood pressure. And because no one hung around there very long, the company definitely suffered the loss of some good people.

Don’t have netflix. What I have STILL (and proud to say it) is a VHS player. I also have approximately 1,000,000 VHS movies, so the thought of losing those movies tells me I won’t get around to making the DVD change till my TV implodes.

I think I can agree with much of that. It takes a good employer to manage their employees well, so sometimes employees end up quitting because those with poor behavior a la Boris don’t end up punished, so they make the office a living hell and people eventually leave, and the company suffers overall for it.

Don’t know who Amy Archer in the Hudsucker Proxy is, but how nice the writing evoked an outside entity.

Asshat is also a new term to me. Like it and will be appropriating it for deserving characters.

You know who I immediately thought of when you mentioned those highfalutin, private school accents that somehow simultaneously gave off down to earth vibes? The character Amy Archer, in the Hudsucker Proxy, who’s always saying “I’ll stake my Pulitzer on it.”

Boris sounds like an asshat. I’m glad he got fired.
